Oxidance No 1.

Formed in Suspension is a limited series of artworks, born out of an exceptional collaboration between design studio and architect. This series of unique objects represents an experimental dialogue between material innovation and the intersection of art and design. Formed in Suspension is a poetic translation of nature’s chemistry to art to reveal unexpected new surfaces. 

Oxidance No 1. (2025) is a unique piece of organic-shaped concrete with grown crystals on it. In an uncontrolled process, the surface of the concrete is etched and stained with ever-changing metallic sands. The processes are not controlled, letting nature decide what will happen. The artwork has no preservation, meaning that it can change and evolve over time, resulting in changing looks.
